FREE YOUR INNER WRITER: STEP TEN
Part One: Relax and envision your ultimate goal as a writer. Spend about fifteen minutes mentally seeing yourself actually living it, enjoying it. What are you doing? Where are you doing it? How are you doing it? Is anyone with you? Can it get better?
After some purposeful daydreaming on your future, document it in great detail in your notebook on a page entitled My Ultimate Goal.
Part Two: Relax. Envision where you’d like to be in: Five years Three years One year Six months Three months One month One week
On separate pages in your notebook, describe each in great detail, as you did with your ultimate goal. In addition, all document any actions you plan to take to accomplish each.
As always, don’t forget to note any reactions, emotions, ideas that come to mind. Have you figured out that this notebook will turn into your Vede Mecum?
