FREE YOUR INNER WRITER: STEP TWELVE
Part One: To properly reverse the fears that have kept you from growing and progressing as a writer, it is important that your new writing habits be positively reinforced. To be able to do so, you must first establish what you think are appropriate rewards for you.
So what are you going to do now? Relax! Write an overflowing list in your notebook of everything you like to do, no matter what it is. Spend time on the list. Use at least a one hour session and if you need to split this task into two sessions, that’s all right. We want this list as complete and happy as you can make it. It doesn’t matter how big or how small the thing you like to do is. All that matters is that you enjoy it.
Part Two: Next, divide the activities and things on your Like List into two separate categories. 1. Major Rewards 2. Minor Rewards
Part Three: Attach one reward from those listed to each of the goals you identified in Step Ten.
Once again, don’t forget to write any reactions, emotions and ideas in you notebook.
Two more steps to go!
